Clinical Uses of Skeletal Scanning

Abstract
Skeletal scanning represents a viable technique for demonstration of bone lesions, especially tumor invasion. Radiographic examination is not sufficient reliable in early detection since an
abnormality is unlikely to be observed until large amount of bone materials has been lost.
Skeletal scanning technique is more sensitive method for early detection of skeletal lesion.
Among various agents for skeletal images, Technetium 99m labeled ethyline hydroxy diphosp-honate and methylene diphosphonate seem to be more good agents.
